Great place! Friendly staff. Not crowded. Delicious food. All you can eat. Peach cobbler was hot and yummy! What more can you ask for? Highly recommend.

How can buffet food be so flavorful?!! Everything we tried was really good. Waitstaff was attentive and friendly.

Loved the fried chicken and the server. She was absolutely endearing in her gracious and inviting manner. I’m so embarrassed that I cannot remember her name, but I can remember the experience she provided which is what we all expect but rarely receive.Thank you sweet lady with the caramel skin. You made the unappetizing baked chicken, roast beef and bland dressing shrink significantly in my memory.

Buddy Freddys is always a pleasure! Staff is wonderful and the buffet is big. If you're a senior ask for the senior discount when you pay on the way out!

Went to Buddy Freddys in Plant City for supper tonight. Food was delicious. Great service. Clean atmosphere.

Very good buffet.... comfort food and good salad and desert bar. Strawberry shortcake was better than Parksdale Farms.

Surprisingly good! No buffet per se. BUT the buffet is there. However, it is now served by an employee sort of cafeteria style. Trips through the line are unlimited and social distancing is being maintained both in lines and with seating . Masks are required if you're not actually eating. Food is just as good as in preCovidian times.

I love their breakfast buffet and so do .y children, Very wonderful waitresses and just makes you feel like home.

I grew up in Plant City. I love it here for breakfast. My husband is from New Jersey and he loves it, just not the grits or biscuits and gravy. Lol They have delicious southern comfort food. Two adults and one teenage boy who eats like two adults. Only spent $28.00 for breakfast. Bacon, bacon, bacon, bacon Galore. So much bacon.

Great food. This is an all you care to eat southern style buffet. The fried chicken is so yummy! Lots of things to choose from here. Their breakfast buffet is very good as well. Mary delicious breakfast choices. They even have the great fried chicken on the breakfast buffet! They had make your own strawberry shortcakes. That was so good. I also give them kudos for having so many sugar free choices on the buffet! If you are in the area definitely give them a try!

Great food, great place. Breakfast buffet was more then enough, many selections, enjoyed Strawberry butter.

It was ok but my server of a big party did not offer me a drink when I sat down. She would look down so it took forever to get her attention. I finally walked to the station and asked.

This restaurant is a hidden gem in Plant City. It features breakfast, lunch and dinner buffet. We were there for lunch and were blown away by the number and variety of choices. And it was all absolutely delicious. Best fried chicken ever!!!! My husband is a bread pudding lover and he said it was absolutely delicious. The price for the lunch buffet is 11.99; worth every penny. And our server, Brenda, was very nice, friendly and attentive. You have got to try it!!!

Everything was very tasteful, great price. The service was excellent everyone was so nice. Very clean. I can't wait to go back.

When I made my review, I had in my mind that I was going to reach the boss boss about what buddy Freddy needs. I should have just left the review alone and came back later, when I realized he is probably not going to see this. I'm sorry. They do have good country food here, the bathrooms are working fine, and the booths are cushiony. They still have great ice cream that your server gives you and they are happy to. They're, down to earth, group of people.

Small selection, but food is phenomenal. Good home cooked food. My entire family loves this place. If your near by, definitely give it a try.

Good southern food buffet. Family place. Come and learn about the locals ailments and enjoy the old timers stories. Been around for a while, still has the same old compressor that kicks in every fem minutes and raises the noise level by ten decimals.Friendly local place with good food. Worth a visit.

A very good restaurant that has gone bad. The food is nowhere as good as it was.uffett has LESS food to choose from. VERY few customers.migjt as well shut down completely or change managers and hope for a comeback.Not fair to servers who make their money on tips.I would suggest that they seek another place of employment.This is usually what happens when they start cutting corners to make MORE profit. I've noticed the quality has been declining for a while.Johnson's Market Restaurant, down town, hasn't cut corners and still has great food and and seems to be doing well.

Food was hot and fresh. Our waitress has been there for a long time.only thing was alot of the food had other food mixed in.people were to lazy to walk around so they would reach across and drop food ..other than that everything was great..loved the strawberry shortcake

In comparison to the other buffets in Plant City, Buddy Freddys is less crowded. It is all so much cleaner then some of the others. The service is solid. The price point is good. There was a time that this was a second-tier choice for many local diners. However, they seem to be on track and continue to serve great food with an extensive variety.

We enjoyed a delicious & quick meal on our way to the concert tonight at the Strawberry Festival here. The food was tasty & hot. The choices were plentiful & varied. I tried fried chicken, fried fish nuggets, bq wings, fried shrimp, green beans, carrots, squash casserole & the cherry cobbler was worth the trip alone! Plus we made it to the concert just in time.

Good selection of country cooking. The buffet was good, however the soup and salad bar needed some attention.

I waited for them to open back up and now that they a re open its hafe the food they surve you all for the save price but your drink comes with your mean now im going somewhere else

This is a buffett. I went here thinking this place was a regular restaurant as their sign outside gives no indication. Their selection was not as big as most buffets, but all the food was cooked very well. The ribs and mac and cheese are great.

Great place for breakfast, lunch or dinner so many choices on their buffet. Everything so good and prices very reasonable.

Yum! I hadn't been here since I was a child. I am happy to report it was as good as I remember. Great food and service.

Great breakfast buffet and friendly service. My coffee was always full, and there were plenty of breakfast items to choose, from eggs, bacon and sausage, to hash browns grit, biscuits, french toast, pancakes, danishes and desserts. A generous salad bar is also available.

Really nice place, awesome food, great service. Only problem was finding dirty plates at buffet. But, I guess that's par for the course with buffets.

1st time visiting and I was overall pleased with the place. I'd comeback to give them another shot. The food was changed out frequently. I didnt enjoy all dishes but most of them.

Service was great.. food was extended past time to chg over so can't really judge quality due to lack of employee job... won't be rushing back for more... love buffets but.. was missing freshness expected from the promotions and others referrals. Friend who referred disappointed to... hopefully was a 1 time thing! Came with great expectation due to great referrals... wish the best. Customer service was awesome. And we did still eat...

I have always come here to eat , but my last visit this past Sunday was not the best. A spoon we had at the table was still visibly dirty, and the service was the worst I've experienced thus far at this location , the lady who was checking us out was rude to me and my grandmother as she started speaking very loudly to my grandmother who can hear perfectly and was rude to me when I asked to pay for the bill with a split payment from two different cards, told me she did not have a calculator in front of her (with a attitude) and she's needs the total for both cards. Will definitely not be going back ,which is sad as this place has always been great in the past.

We were late diners, but the buffet was well stocked and presented nicely. The place is a hometown favorite, offering southern comfort food. It's located in the heart of strawberry country so the strawberry shortcake was exceptional. Server was was good.

Family’s first time going here. We thought it was great! Wonderful southern cooking and the nicest selection of desserts! Found it on a whim trying to get dinner on our way home. Wonderful service as well!

Went for lunch before going to the strawberry festival and the mistake was mine. The food was all varied and all delicious I couldn't stop going back for another. Then trying to pull or push myself around the obviously overcrowded festival took now energy than I intook at lunch. Next time, if there is one, I'll go afterwards. Ya think?
